What Comes Next?

I recently heard someone on the Internet talking about how they can only write so many books a year and for her that number was three. Three books, from the blank page to the smooth package, every year. She books herself out years in advance because she knows her own capabilities so well that she can do that. I am nowhere near that level yet but I didn’t want to think about my current projects. What am I working on, why am I working on it, and what’s coming next? So in the spirit of oversharing here it is.

My biggest goal is to have something to shop around by the end of the year, preferably by the end of the summer. These two are first in line because I think they have the potential to work out well and be finished quickly:

The Demon's Daughter

These two are likely to get worked on. Both are in the right place:

Guinevere
Stone Prince

These are new projects I'd love to sink my teeth into if I have the time. Probably won't, but it's a nice thought:

Sci-fi Gothic Awesomness (doesn’t even have a title- not a good sign!)
Hope Underground

These are all projects that have been abandoned for one reason or another that I would like to get back to. There are more where these came from, these are just the ones that have been nagging at me:

These are projects that are currently in the deep dark holes of my brain. They’re not over, at least not officially, but I’m really unlikely to do anything about them.

Okay, I think that’s it for me. I’m interested to see what if any of these will end up finished by the end of this year. Also of interest is what new projects will appear and demand their own time. We shall see!
